Hi, I am Rebekah Lauren Photography,

I am originally from Hoover, AL, I moved to Florence, Al for 4 years to attend the university of north Alabama, I now lived in Huntsville Al with my husband for a year in a half and then we moved back to Birmingham. I have a bachelors of science in social work (but that was just not meant to be).

I have been doing photography for about 10 years now. I first picked up my first camera (point and shoot cannon) in 2012 when my family bought land to escape to on the weekends in Haleyville, Al - that is where my love for photography was born. I took photography and advanced photography in high school as well. When I first left for college; I was planning on majoring in photography but ended up changing my major several times throughout my 4 years there.

In the meantime I have never stopped taking pictures - from different things for my friends and family (such as engagements to graduations to little babies) to having a creative escape (landscapes, trips and more). For about a year I have worked at a car dealership taking pictures of cars as well.

Things have a funny way of working out and I am always drawn back to my love of photography. My hope is to finally see my dream come true! No more being scared to start this thing that's been 10 years in the making!

I hope to photograph and meet so many people around the Birmingham Alabama area!
